Head Coach

Peter’s role is head coach and program co-ordination - his focus is on integrating swimmers of all levels to create a ‘one team’ environment. Peter is currently senior coach at Stuartholme School and Ormiston College where he has built a loyal and successful swim community both in and out of the pool.

Reece Taylor

Learn to Swim and Squad Coach

A national level swimmer in his Scottish homeland, Reece is a career swim coach who brings a wealth of experience to our program. Reece is well experienced in all levels of coaching, including learn to swim and stroke development.  His practical expertise is backed up with a Bachelor of Science with honours in Applied Sport and Exercise Science (Sports Coaching). Reece is involved in all levels of our program with a particular emphasis on nurturing and growing our junior development squad.

Hannah evans

Learn to Swim and Squad Coach

Hannah swam competitively in South California for many years before turning to water polo where she excelled at a club and national level as well as playing in the Australian Water Polo League for UNSW. Hannah completed a Bachelors of Science and Sports Management in California before moving to Australia in 2018. An accredited and experienced swim instructor with great communication skills, Hannah simply loves her job.

Jye Cornwell

Learn to Swim and Squad Coach

Jye is a "professional" swimmer currently training at Yeronga with his sights firmly set on much bigger things in the pool. He has elite times for both freestyle and butterfly and is currently ranked 6th and 16th in Australia for 50m and 100m backstroke respectively. Jye is an experienced learn to swim instructor for children at all levels, and enjoys sharing his passion and love of all things swimming.

Caiti Rosengren

Squad Coach

Caiti has been a "career" swimmer and recently graduated from Stuartholme where she was the Swim Captain in her final year.  She too fell to the lure of water polo, representing Queensland in 2015. Caiti loves coaching and has been largely responsible for running the Swim Academy's junior and mini squad program for the last 18 months. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at UQ.

Michele Rosengren

Strength and Conditioning

An experienced strength and conditioning coach, Michele designs the land based training for swimmers as well as planning holiday camps. Michele is also involved in the land training and swim program at a private school.
